Levantina Slip Shorts: The under-skirt shorts that turns ‘just a dress’ into a look!

Short Intro (ready-to-paste):

Levantina Slip Shorts by Rose&Leoni are elegant underlayers designed to be worn under dresses and skirts. Forget flimsy bike shorts and cheap leggings. Levantina is different, they’re not meant to be hidden: they’re designed to be seen. Made from featherlight fabric, they feel like a second-skin.  With refined details and premium Italian craftsmanship, they add to your outfit instead of taking away from it.

100% made in Italy from certified materials, Levantina Slip Shorts are ethically produced in small workshops near Vicenza. Rose&Leoni is an emerging brand, founded and run entirely by Elisa Lovato (designer, creative, and operations, all in one).

Why Levantina Slip Shorts

Because traditional underlayers (like bloomers and slips) have fallen out of fashion, but the need never really went away.

Many women still love wearing dresses and mini skirts. They just want to feel protected without showing too much, especially when biking, climbing stairs, or sitting down. And some don’t want to ruin a beautiful outfit by layering cheap leggings underneath.

Levantina Slip Shorts were created for exactly this reason: to offer a high-quality, comfortable, sustainable, and tasteful alternative. Something breathable and beautiful, so that even if a bit of lace peeks out, it elevates the look instead of taking away from it.

The Story Behind Rose&Leoni

Hi, I’m Elisa, founder of Rose&Leoni, and creator of Levantina Slip Shorts. Before starting this project, I spent nearly a decade working in Milan in fashion and advertising, specializing in digital retouching for luxury brands. I was surrounded by perfection: perfect bodies, perfect clothes, perfect images. But something was missing.

Despite all that polish, no one seemed to be making what I actually needed: a beautiful, functional layer to wear under dresses and skirts. Something soft, breathable, elegant. Something that wouldn’t ruin an outfit… or my day!

So instead of retouching garments, I decided to design one.

I took everything I’d learned (photography, fine arts, fashion) and poured it into creating the perfect slip shorts. After months of researching fabrics, testing samples, and learning about local production, Levantina was born.

Every pair is made in Italy, in small batches, just an hour from my home near Vicenza. The details are inspired by the rich history of Venetian ‘braghesse’ subtle, smart, and quietly beautiful. Because I believe what we wear underneath should feel just as intentional as what we wear on the outside.

What Makes Levantina Slip Shorts Different

These aren’t shapewear. They don’t squeeze or reshape your natural curves.
They’re made for one simple reason: to make wearing dresses and skirts more comfortable, without compromising on style or modesty.

No more tugging at your hem on the stairs, adjusting your skirt on a bike, or worrying about what you’re sitting on in public.
Levantina Slip Shorts provide a soft, breathable, and elegant layer between you and the world, so you can move freely, sit confidently, and feel at ease in any outfit.
