In Vicenza, Rose&Leoni was born precisely for this reason: not to create a new need, but to solve one that mainstream fashion has left in the background.

The garment is called Levantina: shorts to be worn under skirts, designed for comfort, decoration, and discretion. Wind, stairs, street grates, and thigh friction no longer dictate what you choose to wear. There’s no need to rely on improvised solutions made for other purposes and often worn reluctantly.

For Rose&Leoni quality is not a slogan. Production is entrusted exclusively to Venetian artisans and uses only Italian materials, with great attention to fit and details that matter when a garment must be worn for hours: soft elastics, lightweight certified fabrics, delicate finishes.

And then there’s the cultural context: the echo of Venetian ‘braghesse’, which between the Renaissance and subsequent centuries appeared in the wardrobe of the Serenissima. An inspiration that today becomes a modern, concrete, everyday format.
